Primo Research Assistant: Best Practices and Considerations Online
Join us for an in-depth session on the Primo Research Assistant, an AI-powered tool designed to enhance the user search experience in Primo. In this 1.5-hour webinar, Yoel Kortick, Ex Libris Senior Librarian, will provide an overview of what the Primo Research Assistant is—and what it is not—along with guidance on when and why to use it, privacy and security considerations, and how to make the most of its capabilities. The session will also cover best practices for reporting usage and how it may change with the transition to Next Discovery Experience (NDE). Ample time will be provided for questions and discussion.
As a follow up to the Ex Libris presentation, PASCAL Shared Systems staff will host an Office Hours session on December 2, 2025, from 10-11am to provide additional time for questions and discussion.
This session is open to all staff at all SLSP participating libraries.
